managing an LCHF lifestyle in Israel
(July 11, 2011)
On Saturday I happened to read the latest post on Tom Naughton’s blog, that spoke on tips for diabetics. If I understood correctly then he referred to an article in an American newspaper specifically for diabetics. At the end of the blog entry TN gathered some of the tips the American Diabetes Association (ADA) gives in their material. They explanat how carbohydrates turn into sugar in the body, and how one should avoid to let the blood sugar raise too much, and at the end they recommend to eat 6-8 servings carbohydrates daily. Eh?
After a short search in Hebrew I found that the advises here in Israel are no better …
And I wonder – Isn’t it better to eat less carbs and maybe reduce the amount of insulin needed to be injected into the body?
