What do you eat on LCHF? The short version

You can eat:

  • Meat, poultry, fish, eggs
  • Butter, fat cheeses, cream
  • Olive oil, coconut oil
  • Most vegetables that grow above the ground (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cabbage, peas, etc.)

You can eat some:

  • Nuts, berries, seasonal fruit
  • Dried beans
  • Dry wine
  • Dark chocolate, min. 85%

What not to eat:

  • Sugar, sweets, sweet soft drink, fruit juices
  • Bread, pasta, rice, cereals
  • Margarine, vegetable oils (except olive and coconut)
  • Potato, sweet potato, corn and other starchy foods
